Highway 30 culvert project east of Westbrook complete (Sept. 9, 2026)

MANKATO, Minn. – The Highway 30 box culvert project at Highwater Creek located between Westbrook and Storden is complete and the detour was removed this morning, Sept. 9, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Crews began work Aug. 10 to install a box culvert under Highway 30 to improve drainage and enhance safety. The project was originally planned for completion in mid-October but is wrapping up ahead of schedule.

Town and Country Excavating LLC was awarded the project with a bid of $786,692.20.
